Say what you want about Muslims you whiney assed bitches, but they have this sh!t totally right.
Report: Saudi judge considers paralysis punishment
CAIRO – Saudi media are reporting that a judge has asked several hospitals in the country whether they could damage a man's spinal cord as punishment after he was convicted of attacking another man with a cleaver and paralyzing him.
Saudi Arabia enforces Islamic law and on occasion metes out punishments based on the ancient code of an eye-for-an-eye.
At least two Saudi newspapers reported Thursday that a judge in northwestern Tabuk province asked hospitals for a medical opinion on the question.
Okaz newspaper reports that a leading hospital in Riyadh responded that it could not do the operation. Two of the hospitals involved and the court were closed for the Saudi weekend and could not be reached for comment.

so then, you'd be fine with someone flying a plane into their planned mosque when it's full of evening prayers, you know, in the old eye-for-an-eye punishment mentality?

WAS it the right one or just one you made up in your head? Would you be okay if someone parked a moving van outside of timmy's Catholic Church?

Absolutely, in fact I hope it happens.

Clearly, the lack of college football is clouding people's thinking. Dear God, let September be here soon. Amen.

Well, in p-griz's example, the person getting the punishment is the person receiving the same punishment...eye for an eye...his eye...or in this case his back.
In your example, there are thousands of people getting hurt that had nothing to do with the offense.
Just saying...

Weren't there thousands of people hurt in the ORIGINAL offense that had nothing to do with anything?

Fuck dude you are really terrible at this. Yes is the answer to your question, that's obvious. To make an analogy of your poor analogy it would be like this defendant causing this victim's paralysis and then the judge orders that some random guy the defendant may have met to be paralyzed. You do see the difference here don't you?
That would not be an eye for an eye punishment it would be an eye for any random eye punishment and therefore the effectiveness of the deterrent would be lost.
You are very bad at analogies but I'm going to make up a word and say that you may be the finest Amalgamationalogist I've ever seen.

I was thinking about three well placed cruise missles would do the trick... no reason to kill innocent passengers and pilots or destroy a pefectly operational aircraft.
