And you didn't believe that Iraq had WMD when the US invaded?Skjellyfetti wrote:And more than that believe Iraq had WMD when we invaded.
The American public is woefully uninformed.
Grizalltheway wrote:And an even greater percentage believe that a virgin gave birth to the savior of mankind, who later turned into a zombie. Your point?

No, you weren't. You said:Skjellyfetti wrote:lol, JoltinJoe
I'm talking about well AFTER the actual invasion. Save your maniacal rants for the Catholic threads.
July 2006 poll: 50% of Americans still believe Iraq had WMD when we invaded.

"BELIEVE" IS A PRESENT TENSE VERB. MANY AMERICANS BELIEVE (IN THE PRESENT TENSE) THAT IRAQ HAD WMD WHEN WE INVADED.
IT'S NOT THAT **** HARD. YOU ARE A **** LAWYER FOR CHRIST SAKES.

Bowing to Saudi King
Said he was going to join a church in DC
No national prayer day
Didn't show up for the Boy Scout jamboree
Had Jesus covered up at speech
His comments on the Ground zero mosque
He spent $23 million promoting Kenya’s new pro sharia constitution.
Obama has insisted, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation.” Yet he said elsewhere America is “one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.” His religious adviser, Eboo Patel, once deemed the United States “the ideal place for the renewal of Islam.”
His speech in Cairo last June.
Saying to Stephanopoulos my Muslim faith before being corrected
Saying to NY Times that the Muslim call to faith is the most beautiful sound in the world.
Someone once said “By their fruits, ye shall know them.”
Zogby poll: 42% of Democrats thinks Bush was behind the 9-11 attack so I guess you're right about folks being dumb.
So is being Muslim that bad the the Donks go to the extreme to deny it even though he has been a member of Rev Wrights church for 20+ years. Then on the other hand they blatently attack Christianity and are apologetic towards Muslims. I'm not sure if they feel it's better to Muslim or Christian, or if they stand for anything at all.
There's no doublt they feel it's better he be a muslim...you know, the religion of peace.Gil Dobie wrote:So is being Muslim that bad the the Donks go to the extreme to deny it even though he has been a member of Rev Wrights church for 20+ years. We were told by the President that Iraq had WMD.
We were told by members of his cabinet, including the most highly respected Colin Powell, that Iraq had WMD.
When Bill Clinton was President, he told us that Iraq had WMD.
We were told by leaders of our allies, including Great Britain, Germany, France and others, that they too had intelligence which showed Iraq had WMD.
We were told by leading Democratic members of Congress, including then Senator Hilliary Clinton, that Iraq had WMD.
Why wouldn't have any reasonable person believed, at the time of the invasion, that Iraq had WMD?
Like Bill Clinton?polsongrizz wrote:Anyone who believed any of that at any time is a complete and absolute F8cking idiot. The great thing about most of the above is I made a killing betting Right Wing Morons who actually believed that SH!T...JoltinJoe wrote:

Dumbassed F8cking Americans.
Al Gore also believed, and IMO, would have invaded Iraq due to it's strategic location to the Saudi Oil fields, which are important to the US economy. Gore might have used the same excuse or a different one, either way, the ruling elite in this country wanted Saddam out.JoltinJoe wrote:Like Bill Clinton?
Also Iraq had, some years earlier, actually used weapons of mass destruction against the Kurds. So why would it have been unreasonable for any American to have believed, in March 2003, that Iraq had WMD?
The question is why were all of our leaders so badly informed? Did someone at CIA cook the intelligence? In my estimation, sending our troops to war and gaining support for that war, on false pretenses, is high treason.Gil Dobie wrote:Al Gore also believed, and IMO, would have invaded Iraq due to it's strategic location to the Saudi Oil fields, which are important to the US economy. "And the Final Jeopardy answer is: Congress".
Who said: "The United States are in no sense a Christian nation".
"Correct! We have a new Champion!"
