Well, lets all travel back in our time machines and chastise McCain for something he said 10 friggin' years ago.dbackjon wrote:So, when do you "Leave the Kids alone" McCain supporters blast him for making bad jokes about Chelsea Clinton when her father was President?
And yes, we should leave Bristol alone. However, we CAN, and should attack the hypocracy of abstience only education supporters like Palin.
Again, you excuse the absolute lack of judgement on McCain. Very scary to think this person could be president...AZGrizFan wrote:Well, lets all travel back in our time machines and chastise McCain for something he said 10 friggin' years ago.dbackjon wrote:So, when do you "Leave the Kids alone" McCain supporters blast him for making bad jokes about Chelsea Clinton when her father was President?

Jon....can you honestly sit there and believe that there's NO difference between "making bad jokes" and using a child in an unfortunate situation for political gain? Seriously? The only BAD judgment being displayed here is by Obama supporters.dbackjon wrote:Again, you excuse the absolute lack of judgement on McCain. Cap'n I'm sorry...I put that in as a callback to a post of yours from YESTERDAY. You're memory is being affected by frequent fishing trips and being exposed to D!'s inhaler.Cap'n Cat wrote:Ursus A. On the contrary, it's brother Jon who is reaching, comparing off color jokes from a decade ago to the political skewering going on right now with Palin's daughter as the skewer (no pun intended)...Cap'n Cat wrote:AZGrizFan wrote: Jon....can you honestly sit there and believe that there's NO difference between "making bad jokes" and using a child in an unfortunate situation for political gain? Think you're reachin' a fer stretch here, Brother Z.
Nope...he BONA fide.Wedgebuster wrote:Bristol's boyfriend did not abide.
Super, you see Palin parading the teen pregnancy and family in front of the world media? Seems the McCain Palin team want to use them but don't want anyone to take shots at em.SuperHornet wrote:While the fam SHOULD be off limits, it seems that there's a double-standard going on here: ever since Obama's complaints regarding coverage of his family, Michelle Obama has been off-limits, but somehow the Palin family is fair game. That is PATENTLY unfair. Obama gets the good pub of being seen as taking the "high road" while his cronies go behind the scenes doing his dirty work.
That said, I saw this morning that the late night comedy guys almost to a man took the inevitable John Edwards swipe at Palin. This is absolutely SICK, guys.
