The Poli Board at AGS has gone off the deep end.

Guys, this leftie is very disappointed that it is a concern at all and blames our irresponsible media for senationalizing it. Conk or Donk, these things happen to human beings and it should be a non-issue. Feelin' sorry for her daughter.

I agree with all of you fellas. Obama comes through like a gentleman so good job to him. Even though Cap'n doesn't read my posts I think he shows a modicum of it as well.

Maybe if that conk whore Palin would have been at home raising her kids, then her daughter wouldn't have been wearing her ankles for earrings with the school hockey team.....

So, when do you "Leave the Kids alone" McCain supporters blast him for making bad jokes about Chelsea Clinton when her father was President?

And yes, we should leave Bristol alone. However, we CAN, and should attack the hypocracy of abstience only education supporters like Palin.

Well, lets all travel back in our time machines and chastise McCain for something he said 10 friggin' years ago.

Again, you excuse the absolute lack of judgement on McCain. Very scary to think this person could be president...

Jon....can you honestly sit there and believe that there's NO difference between "making bad jokes" and using a child in an unfortunate situation for political gain? Seriously? The only BAD judgment being displayed here is by Obama supporters.

Cap'n I'm sorry...I put that in as a callback to a post of yours from YESTERDAY. You're memory is being affected by frequent fishing trips and being exposed to D!'s inhaler.

On the contrary, it's brother Jon who is reaching, comparing off color jokes from a decade ago to the political skewering going on right now with Palin's daughter as the skewer (no pun intended)...

While the fam SHOULD be off limits, it seems that there's a double-standard going on here: ever since Obama's complaints regarding coverage of his family, Michelle Obama has been off-limits, but somehow the Palin family is fair game. That is PATENTLY unfair. Obama gets the good pub of being seen as taking the "high road" while his cronies go behind the scenes doing his dirty work.

That said, I saw this morning that the late night comedy guys almost to a man took the inevitable John Edwards swipe at Palin. This is absolutely SICK, guys.

Super, you see Palin parading the teen pregnancy and family in front of the world media? Seems the McCain Palin team want to use them but don't want anyone to take shots at em.

I feel bad for that poor girl and her boyfriend being forced in to the spotlight by a wicked bitch of a mother only concerned about her political ambitions.

The reality is, if Palin was such a good mother, why did her teen daughter get knocked up under her watch? Looks like she'll need to revisit the abstinence-only sex ed policies she endorses.

Palin = Bad parent and worse judgement.

"Parading" the pregnancy? Who do you think you're kidding? This was damage control, pure and simple. Can you imagine the uproar if it had been hidden, and then the left-leaning NBC-ites had jumped on it?

It's just like anything else, D1B. You fess up to a screw-up before it becomes public, and the impact is minimized.

I also don't believe for a minute that if Obama's kids had been fooling around that anyone in the media would care. He has them wrapped around his freaking finger. It's completely sexist. To try to say otherwise is hypocritical.

Hasn't she been in favor of drilling in the ocean, including Bristol Bay?

Yes. During the convention, the crowd was recorded chanting "Drill baby, Drill".
