Democrats walking around with big hard-ons as Grand Old Party takes back seat to it's own rabble spawn!

WASHINGTON — It's tea time in America.

Putting an exclamation point on a surprising — and unpredictable — primary season, tea party-backed candidate Christine O'Donnell beat moderate and longtime front-runner Rep. Mike Castle in Delaware's GOP Senate primary Tuesday.

The stunning outcome was the culmination of a growing anti-establishment, anti-Washington sentiment among Republicans. The trend began in May, when Utah Sen. Robert Bennett was unable to win his party's nomination.

Come on November and let the debates begin!

and watch us take over."

Considering the Dems have a majority and this shows that people want anyone other than who's in office... I think you misunderstand exactly who is in trouble Cat.

I'm trying to figure out how this is bad for conservatives.

In this one case, it will be. She doesn't stand a chance in November. What was an R seat will go D.

Maybe. I don't know enough about her to comment.

But I will say this: if this is what it takes to ensure that big spending non-conservative Republicans get the boot then I'm all for it. I'd rather have a Dem in the seat than another Arlen Specter.

Benefit for Dems? Shit, either you guys have no brains or you're in SERIOUS denial!

Their Democrat challengers will be running against these McVeigh uBer Conks who are better suited as extras in the History Channel's "Swamp People" than running for office. They will be exposed for the mouth-breathing convenience store clerks they are in October debates when they try to paint a picture (by numbers and with finger paint, no doubt) of how they will "run" (read, 'ruin') the government. Nevermind that the Dems have a very Conklike war chest to fight these slobs.

The Conkunist Party is unraveling spectacularly and we all have a front row seat!!

Keep spinnin', girls!

Round and round, ConkSpin goes,
where it stops, nobody knows!!

Actually, it's already a D seat. You'd be more correct to say, "what would have been a lost D seat is going to stay D".

Polls showed that Castle would have crushed Coons for Biden's old seat (currently held by placeholder Kauffman), but Coons is a double digit leader vs McDonnell in most polls.

Independents like me supported Castle consistently, but we're not eager to elect a hateful quack like O'Donnell. I don't know jack shit about Coons yet but I know I'm voting for him as long as he passes a mild sanity check. My wife, mother, father, and just about every one of my Delaware facebook friends (other than the ultraconservative Palin nutjob types) are saying the same.

FWIW IMO I think this is a nationwide phenomenom.

Here in FL we had the mainstream GOP candidate, Bill McCollum, who has been a good foot soldier for the GOP in FL for decades, running in the GOP primary for Gov against political outsider Rick Scott, who is former CEO of United Healthcare.

Without any backing either financially or organizationally Scott cleaned McCollum's clock in the primaries... although it cost him over $30,000,000 of his OWN coin to do it. The state GOP muckety mucks were not pleased at all and reluctantly- after several days- threw their support behind Scott as he enters the fall general election against Donk Alex Sink (female named Alex), former CFO of Bank of America.

The general election is going to be amazing and there will be 10's of millions spent.

If you're dissatisfied with your party, 93, come to the bright side and go Dem.

Actually wrt to November 2012 these primary results are bad for the Dems - by nominating a bunch of worthless Tea Party candidates and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, Palin and her ilk will be effectively marginalized and Obama will have to face a much tougher GOP candidate (Jindal maybe?) while saddled with a double-dip recession and a Dem majority in Congress - easy pickings for a sadder yet smarter conservative majority...

Dude sunk his chances with his ridiculously bad response to Obama's first address to Congress. If that's the best y'all have... I like Obama's chances.

Rob Iola wrote:a double-dip recession
This is the best hope for Republicans in 2012. It's not looking very likely, though. But, if y'all want to take over the White House... you better start praying that the economy tanks.

It was actually HCA (Hospital Corporation of America). They are a big group that owns 128 hospitals and 105 surgery centers across the US. Not trying to be Mr Know it All - the company I work for has a couple of HCA hospitals that are our clients.
