I guess that, from now until the end of time, because I share a name with about 20,000 other Tom M.'s in the world., I'll NEVER BE ABLE TO DO INTERNET CHECKIN AGAIN!!!!! AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

What list are you talking about?

There's some incredibly faulty list of folk not authorized to fly on airplanes in this country due to involvement in terrorism and other such antisocial activity. The major malfunction of this list seems to be that these miscreants are identified by name only, thereby inconveniencing innocent people who just happen to have the same name. It's a major pain in the rear for these people to prove to TSA folk that they're legit.

Another example of Big Brother going too far after 9/11.

How do we find out if we are on this list?

It looks like if you Google "no fly list" there are some web pages out there that have info on this subject. I have no idea how reliable they are - your call.
