Illegally? Bah, Mexico made their own problems by screwing around with Texas once they got rid of Spain. If they hadn't screwed up that area in the first place, Texas never would've fought for independence and we never would've gotten into a spat with Mexico when they threatened war if we ever annexed Texas. Our winning the Mexican-American war was just one of the end pieces of Mexican mistakes made ever since 1824 when they rebelled against Spain. Too bad for them.
