I know you guys say that, but I've yet to find anyone who takes the Daily Show as actual news.

I do find it sad that people take Fox News or MSNBC as the truth on a subject though. Both clearly biased, yet some people ignore it or are just to naive to see it?

It's true tho. And it is sad those who watch any "news" channel and expect to get news.

But I hold a degree from a campus that is a walking, breathing Fox News junkie, so I know there are plenty of people who take it like it's gold and spread its propaganda like the plague.

I remember a study from a few years ago that found Daily Show viewers were among the most informed. That doesn't mean they don't take the Daily Show as actual news... but, it would lead me to assume it's not their primary source of news.

In order to really get the humor out of the comedy central "news" shows, you have to be up on the news first.

They are all watching news. They just have to be clever enough to pick the pepper out of the fly sh!t.

There is no such thing as pure, straight news, including NPR and BBC. Every reporter has a worldview and an angle.
