What will the composition of the Senate be after the election??

Currently 49-49-2

This projects 56-42-2

Projecting Dem pick-ups in AK, CO, NH, NM, NC, OR, VA
Possible other pickups in MN, GA, MS and KY

It's a feeding frenzy right now. The pendulum will swing back the other direction. Just give dems about 4 years to totally fvck things up.

dback, the map has MI as "weak Dem", I thought Obama had that one pretty well locked up considering McCain pulled out of MI????

6 point lead, and trending towards Obama. I guess mcCain feels with the economy tanking, Michigan is a lost cause

Which they will. I think anytime you give one party control of everything (White House, Senate, HoR) they screw it up.

I think our government works best when both parties have a share of something. I am worried that the Dems will control everything after the election.

The Dems will pick up a seat here in Virginia...

Mark Warner, successful as governor, should easily win the seat currently held by retiring Senator John Warner (no relation)
