Anybody else think that these two guys that we have running for president waste too much money? I mean they spend over 100 million bucks to try and get people to vote for them. That money could be spent on something else that the American people need. Any thoughts?

I guess that is the problem. It is their money, they raised it so it is not my place to tell them what to do with their money but it does seem a little excessive. I guess the President's salary means nothing, they are just buying the power.

I think our campaigns should be like the Brits or the Israelis...30 days, no more...

Won't happen, I know...but since this country has become an "instant" society (we want instant information...expect instant success...instant profit...etc) I would think an instant campaign would be attractive...

Couldn't we just start pulling names out of a hat at this point? Right now even 30 days seems too long.

Just vote for the black man. That's what all the African Americans are doing...

I don't see why we don't have the primaries on the same day, when the official results are in, we have the convention, a one day affair and the next day you vote for president. Why drag it out? We aren't an agrarian society any more.
