Why can't we elect diplomats as Presidents any more? Foreign policy is THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB OF ANY PRESIDENT. If Palin wants to be considered a serious candidate in 2012 she really needs to sharpening her foreign policy knowledge.

A President needs to have a basic philosophical outlook on the role of government in the United States and the role of the United States in the world. Then the President needs to surround himself or herself with experts who know how things work but who also will work to advance the philosophical outlook.
