Mortgage rates have moved sharply higher in the last 3 or 4 trading sessions, in some cases one half of a percent!!!!

Locked in my rate this morning because of this volatility on a purchase mortgage I in process on for a new investment property.

30 year fixed - 5%, no points, no origination fees.......$500 to lock it which gets credited back at closing.
