That lady who went for him with her purse had some stones. She distracted him and none of those guys even moved from their chairs.

If nothing else I'd rather get shot coming at him than sitting in a chair.

Nah it would have been OK. When the bad guy ran out of ammo and had to run down to Wal Mart to buy some more, all the people could have just run out of the building.
