Reid quickly tried to backtrack from his statement, and his spokesman came out and said he'd corrected it, but too late. So Obama is trying to do this delicate diplomacy dance while Reid says this. Bet Obama is pissed.

That's like B.O.'s buddy the new Gov of Hawaii saying he'd release his long form birth certificate when he takes office and now says he can't find one.

It seems that some of that Obama-Reid-Pelosi stimulus money, which was supposed to be used to help create jobs here at home, may be helping to stimulate the Chinese economy instead. This would be on top of the help that the Chinese would get competitively if Obama’s cap-and-trade proposals are ever enacted.

As reported by MSNBC, top Democratic fundraisers, union supporters and lobbyists with links to the Obama White House are behind a proposed wind farm in Texas that stands to get $450 million in stimulus money. This would be fairly routine but for the fact that A-Power Energy Generation Systems, a Chinese supplier of wind turbines, would operate the farm and its turbines would be built in China. The Chinese are also bringing some financing of their own to the project.

We should be building our own wind turbines. That being said, didn't some of the Bush bailout money help out foreign banks?

Just another reason why there should have been no bailouts, be it banks, AIG, Fannie, Freddie, GM, Chrysler, etc, etc, under either Bush or Obama.

Yeah there is a huge turbine plant in Fargo that would have loved that contract.

The story gets worse. Turns out Reid and other Dems are pushing a deal for stimulus dollars to go to a joint US - Chinese project to build one of the world's largest wind farms in Texas. The Texas company provides the neccessary political clout, and the Chinese group manufactures the equipment. It's predicted to produce 2300 jobs, 2000 of which will be in China.

See conks? There's plenty of legitimate reasons to bash the Dems. No need to go all hysterical with the commibirthermuslimsocialist crap.
