For Cleets edification, so he can correctly label people from his Ivory Tower, please simply state what your position is on gay marriage - support, oppose, don't care.

I support the right of Cleets to wrongfully cast judgement from his ivory tower.
What's funny about this is I'm guessing we'll get very few people who are opposed. Yet it has been a cornerstone of conk issues for awhile now. Perhaps we're not as center right as Cid1990 always claims...or was that Native.

I think many of the righties on this board are more fiscal conservative/socially moderate/libertarian vein.

because anyone with half a brain who debates this topic can't say they are for small government and pro-oppression of a certain group

Then I guess St. Onge has less than half a brain.

I think when you get down to brass tacks, that's the feeling of a vast majority of the country. Yet here you are with less rights...

I support states making decisions on this...
Although I'd rather marriage not be a civil issue at all...
Civil unions for all...leave the religious side to the individual...

And if I get married in Iowa, should Arizona have to recognize it, if they recognize hetero weddings from Iowa?

Depends on state law...
SCOTUS has ruled in a number of areas that Constitutional rights can be regulated by the states in a reasonable manner...I see no reason to assume that marriage laws would be any different
For example, a gay citizens in Arizona can legally carry a weapon, but would be slammed up against a police car in Illinois or Wisconsin...and the RKBA is written into the Constitution...I don't find marriage anywhere in that document...
I guess it depends on what each state calls reasonable...

I would have trouble picking the term "support" but I guess I would have to say "I dont care".
