"I am running to tell the lobbyists in Washington that their days of setting the agenda are over. They have not funded my campaign. They won't work in my White House."
Candidate Barak Obama, about one year ago
Anybody check out the list of people working on the Transition team, or those who have been offered White House jobs???
You need more than two hands to count the lobbyists...
Oh, well...campaign promises really don't count, do they???

I will support the new president when he takes office next month...I'm not one of those "he's not MY president" kind of people...
But as a member of the loyal opposition, I feel it is my duty to point out how he is already vearing off course on one of his main "chants"...that being lobbyists will have no place in his White House...
You can chose to ignore this variation...I understand being blinded by his brightness...
I hope he succeeds...I just think he's set out expectations that are way too hard to achieve...

So what? He didn't win...so none of his "promises" matter now, do they? It's the "Chosen One" who's in the spotlight now, sonny.
