The place they say the gunman is from is a town/region that is still greatly divided between ethnic Albanians and Serbs - considering how one side in the Kosovo conflict greatly objected to our role there, it isn't hard to imagine this guy, although a Kosovar, could be from that side that doesn't like us.

Flown in and out of Frankfurt numerous times. Think always terminal one, which is where US Airways, United, and American are located at. Shooting was in front of terminal 2- Delta is there, so if these guys were flying a US carrier, it would have been Delta. Anyway, place is crawling with polizei, some of them carrying I think MP-5s. (I'm sure they've got plain clothes there too). I imagine the polizei got there pretty quickly.

Why can't they all just accept the democracy we're so kindly giving them...

Unfortunately one of the two killed was an ODU alumnus. RIP.
