MADISON, Wis. – A Wisconsin judge issued a temporary restraining order Friday blocking the state's new and contentious collective bargaining law from taking effect, a measure that drew tens of thousands of protesters to the state Capitol and sent some Democrats fleeing to Illinois in an attempt to block a vote on it.

The judge's order is a major setback for new Republican Gov. Scott Walker and puts the future of the law in question.

What a weak-ass liberal judge move. Block the law because they passed it too fast. Perhaps the judge should take a look at the Obamacare package or the stimulus packages, all passed too fast without anyone actually reading them.

What's good for the goose....

He was raised in a secret KGB orphanage near Lake Baikal. There is an ultra-thin wire surgically implanted under his scalp that functions as an antenna and allows his Russian handlers to speak directly to him from the Kremlin and remain unheard.

Walker needs to just disregard this ruling, simple as that.

If a clueless judge can disregard the will of the people I say he returns the favor. I would even go so far as to throw that judge out of my state in they ever set foot there.

If the dems are going to change the rules and not play because it doesnt benefit them then fu*k you your ruling is not allowed in my state.

Play by their illegal rules and kick the dens in the fu*king teeth.

Maryann Sumi is hardly an unbiased judge in the matter.

Her son is a political operative who also happens to be a former lead field manager with the AFL-CIO and data manager for the SEIU State Council.

Jacob “Jake” Sinderbrand, Sumi’s son [see page nine here], runs a company called Left Field Strategies, a firm that works on political campaigns.

The state Code of Judicial Conduct says simply, “A judge may not allow family, social, political or other relationships to influence the judge's judicial conduct or judgment.” The code also notes that judges should avoid situations in which family members including children have a financial stake in the outcome of a case.
