There's no need for any potassium iodide right now, unless you're a chicken little. Besides, it only provides very minimal protection against radioactive iodine and only to your thyroid. You're better off investing in lead knights armor, because potassium iodide ain't protecting you from the other, more harmful forms of radiation.


Hope none of you hoity toities drink Fresca or other "fruity" flavored sodas regularly. You've probably already done more damage to your thyroid than any radioactive iodine will do to the average person living in Japan.
