Consider this:

A nobel-prize winning scientist says American policy towards sub-Saharan Africa is flawed because it falsely assumes that ethnic Africans have evolved the same level of intelligence as ethnic Europeans. Barely anyone in the media mentions it and there is hardly anything to be found on the 'net about it.

On the other hand, a young woman makes a youtube video complaining about what she perceives as rudeness by one ethnic group. She does nothing to suggest that the rudeness is somehow biologically innate within that group. All hell breaks loose. The girl gets death threats and has to drop out of school. Practically everyone who gets news from the net knows about it. It's even seen on TV news as well.

Now which one of these comes closer to the actual definition of racism and is really more dangerous rhetoric? And why is the reaction so completely different? It's getting really hard to take anything that diversity-mongers say about race seriously with this kind of cognitive dissonance going on.

this nobel prize winning scientist isn't by chance a german is he? the above sounds a lot like the ethnic 'science' that swept europe before the Great War and after its close.

I was assuming the scientist's comments were made in a scientific paper... as that's where scientists usually make their arguments. If that's not the case... link whatever article or op-ed or whatever it was.

There isnt any racism these days.

Too many laws, too many watchdog groups, too many things that slant the field in the favor of minorities.

The only people that are being racially profiled and bigots have full reign over is white men. Its perfectly ok to bash them, beat them and make examples of them.

We elected a worthless black president for fu*k sake, racism ended the minute that happened.
