I'm one fed hoping they close this sucker down...I'd like some vacation, and I'm suppose to go to Illinois next week...I would like to avoid that hell-hole if I can...

That sounds like the anti-stimulus bill, which must surely be more effective at creating jobs than the stimulus bill was.

This is what cracks me up about the current political climate. Yesterday, there were comments about how the two parties don't play nice together, and then when a compromise is reached you get comments like this.

Boehner is good peeps. But I guess you can never make extremists happy when you compromise. Unfortunately, compromise has turned into a sign of weakness in this perverted age we live in. :ohno:

Boehner caved. We have a $1.5 trillion deficit. They cut $40 billion. WOW! They saved us! :ohno:

They couldn't find any more money to cut out of the trillions they spend? WAFJ.

My disdain is not only for Boehner but all of our elected officials. We have to do something about this. :ohno:

Then along came Victorino who gave a gift to Jones that should've been ruled a two-base error, but official scorer Jane Fonda gave Chipper a double.

Anyway, the GOP probably got the better of this deal if you look at it dispassionately, but plenty more train wreck opportunities lie ahead.

By the way, I apologize for the frequent appearance of the word "muthafukka" last night. I was channeling my inner Ken Jeong (yep, that Hangover guy).

No it's not. It is a spending problem. The govt takes enough money from all of us. The govt needs to live within its means.

In your opinion, but if you're into balanced budgets, reality says govt isnt taking enough from some of us. :coffee:
