BRUSSELS, Belgium — A former bishop's televised admission that he sexually abused two of his nephews caused an uproar in Belgium on Friday, with the prime minister, senior clergy and a prosecutor expressing shock at the way the ex-prelate made light of his offenses.

In an interview that aired Thursday Roger Vangheluwe, the former bishop of Bruges, spoke of his sexual abuse as "a little game," that involved fondling, but no "rough sex."

"I was never naked" and the abuse was never about "real sexuality," said Vangheluwe, 74.

He resigned as bishop in 2010 after admitting he had abused one of his nephews for 13 years — until the boy was 18. In the TV interview aired Thursday, he revealed that he had abused a second nephew "a few times, a couple of times, not for years."

They tell the US govt. that it will be $1000.00 to bury him there or $1,000,000.00 to box him up and have him buried back in America.

The US govt. whips out a wallet and says do you take cash, check, or charge. The last time someone was buried here they came back from the dead and we cannot risk that happening again.

I did claim a significant portion of the deaths attributed to Mao and Stalin were the result of famine aggravated by the application of marxist economic principles to agriculture. This is a historical fact that doesn't in any way deny the millions who were murdered or sent to their graves for political reasons.

Spare me this BS. The people who were "starved" were political opponents and other impediments. The "famine" was a a man-made event systematically applied in a ruthless fashion to those who would not embrace the state. Only a government unanswerable to natural law could have accomplished such an atrocity.

What's pathetic is that you are part Ukrainian, correct? It is an historical fact that the Soviets were exporting food from the Ukraine while claiming that "famine" existed in the Ukraine. Perhaps 7 million Ukrainians were annihilated by the Soviet machine, a majority from the so-called "famine."
