Not A Single Viable Challenger, Obama To Walk To Second Term

Can we just get this over with right now? The guy has held his own. He's beat back the Conks into their pitiful little backward corner. Non-controversial, no one can touch him. Well-respected overseas and in command of America's destiny, Conks should just gear up for 2016......because there will be widespread calls for a third term. Resistance is futile.

Who you gonna runa against him - Palin?   Huckabee?   Trump?   Pawlenty?

Eight more years! Eight more years!

Discuss.

He's reversing the Bush unemployment trend and he's tackling sh*t where Conks fear to tread. Can't wait for the Conk Medicare and Social Security cuts sh*t to start flyin'! Eight more years!!!

Obama will be caught in bed with an ugly white Congressional aide that he's been boning for 3 years. Tiger Woods will say that she's his sloppy seconds. Michelle will leave him, take the kids, and urge a nationwide boycott of mocha almond ice cream. Mitch Daniels will coast in '12, muthagrabbahz!!

Right now it looks like Obama wins easily. The only way he won't win is if things tank in the next couple of years and even though I'm not an Obama guy, I hope that doesn't happen. Obama does need to cut spending, but I don't think his excessive spending will cost him an election. People really don't care about the deficit that much even though it's more of an issue than it's been in the past.

I'm not a real fan of any of the early Republican "front runners". I like Ron Paul, and will vote for him if given the chance, but I don't think that's likely.

It's all about jobs and the landscape is improving every day. If I were Obama, in 2012 , I would ask if you were better off than in 2008. Not everyone can say yes, but most would. He's gotta work that rich fvcks tax cut thing, too, and make slackers like Z and Ivytalk and Joe and TMan the villians.

Guy's in like flint. Can we just avoid the Palin-Beck-Huckafvck-Trump-Bachmann circus?????????

Fuggin' Empty-Suit-in-Chief has fewer accomplishments than the mayor of Cedar Falls. If the Republicans get their heads together, we can bounce this left-wing-only turkey back to Shy-Town.

You might be right...I'm sure gas prices, inflation, the debt and unemployment will all come down by '12 and the plant employees and your boss will be high five-en you when they see your Obama bumper sticker in the work parking lot. You will have one...right?

If things TANK? So if status quo is still in place next year (9% unemployment, $4 gas, depressed housing prices, record gov't spending and deficit) he's a shoe-in?

If that's the case, the country deserves what it gets. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

IF Obama were to be re-elected, I wouldn't be surprised if his arrogant self found a way to repeal presidential term limits so he could out-do FDR.

The problem is, I don't believe he's going to make it out of the freaking primary, much less beat whoever the GOP trots out.

Sarah in '12!!! (I hope. If Hilary wins the Donkey primary, it's all over for the GOP for the next 8 years, though, and perhaps the next 16, when she's followed by Chelsea. :ohno: )

It looks as if the economy is improving, if that trend continues then yes Obama is a lock. The bottom line is that it's people wallets that vote. I agree that governement debt and spending are a problem, but most voters don't care enough to make those their key voting issues.

The country absolutely deserves what it gets. We re-elected Dubya, we will re-elect Obama.

This feeble and slow recovery isn't going to last much longer on our present course. Whether or not Obama wins depends on whether things take a turn for the worse before 2012.

Gas prices and energy prices are going to go up, which will bring this snail's pace recovery to a screeching halt. Not to mention the S&P's report saying it may not be justifiable to have the US credit rating at AAA for much longer.

The wall street report on the radio this morning said 40% of home sales were distressed sales of foreclosures and short-sales. There is a huge inventory of foreclosures still waiting to be released.

Carp is the new Walleye

Link
ST. CROIX FALLS - A 27-pound bighead carp was caught this week on the Saint Croix River on the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. And officials are concerned that the invasive fish will spread, and cause serious damage to native fish.

It’s the seventh time a bighead carp was found in the rivers that border Minnesota – but it’s only the second caught in the Saint Croix, which runs north of where the Mississippi breaks off at Prescott. The first bighead carp was caught in 1996 on the Saint Croix.

Luke Skinner of the Minnesota DNR said the latest fish was caught upstream from the first one. He says physical barriers are an effective way to slow them down. And the best spots for that include Taylors Falls on the Saint Croix, and the Coon Rapids Dam on the Mississippi River.
