Normally I ignore stuff like this that infests the internet, but if true, it would confirm everything I already believe about Obama.

Sounds very plausable. Why should we suddenly expect Obama to have grown a spine?

which is where the conspiracy theory comes in... there are elements of the fringe right (which, i don't think for a moment you are a part of) that WANT so badly to believe that Obama just COULDN'T have done this, that they've fabricated this little tale to explain away what happened. That way, they don't have to give him credit for anything and can safely continue with their world view...

It's not a terribly far fetched scenario. One thing is for sure - once the Oliver Stone types on the left coast construct a script for the movie BO will be portrayed as nothing short of godlike in his decision making.

And the truth...as usual....will never be known....but lies somewhere in the middle....

I don't believe he had anything to do with it. Look at the SitRoom pic. Everyone there looks like they've been at the office and hard at work all day. Obama is wearing a golf shirt under a jacket. Put yourself in the CofC's shoes for a minute. If you had something like this about to happen, arguably the most important and visible counter-terrorism
operation in US history, would you be playing golf a few hours before it goes down?

There's more than one SitRoom pic. They probably spent hours in there.

Here's one of Obama at the head of the table, obviously in charge:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And do you seriously have issue with him wearing a polo shirt?

Oh, he's sitting at the head of the table. I didn't see that. I take back everything I wrote previously.

Anyway, the pic's caption is completely wrong.

Well, what's your evidence that he "had nothing to do with it." You seem to want to believe that really badly... but, have no decent evidence for it.

expandspanos type shit, imo. :|

Seems accurate to me. Help me out.
President Barack Obama talks with members of the national security team at the conclusion of one in a series of meetings discussing the mission against Osama bin Laden, in the Situation Room of the White House, May 1, 2011. Gen. James Cartwright, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is seen on the screen.

It wasn't one of a series of meetings discussing the mission against OBL. It was at the conclusion of the operation. Look at the clothes they are wearing. They are the same clothes being worn as the operation was going down. Also, if the head of the table position is so important to you, look who is at the head of the table while the operation was being conducted. It was an Air Force brigadier general.

I would think there was a significant air cover operation going on at the time of the raid, and that it may have been most essential if things would have unfolded differently.

That's what they want you to think, Wedgie, but Citadulgrad was too sharp - they were in actuality, golfing. Obama's shirt gave it away...

Obama was golfing. He was called in from the golf course when the operation started to go down. That has been widely reported by "acceptable" media sources.

No. He came back from his golf game hours before the operation started.
