WASHINGTON – A software and Adobe expert called on by the Fox News Channel to examine Barack Obama's long-for birth certificate turns out to be a cheerleader for the "Yes We Can" crowd.

Jean-Claude Tremblay of Montreal, Canada, billed by Fox as a "leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator," is the first forensics analyst to weigh in on the validity of the document.

He told Fox there is no doubt about the authenticity of the document.

However, what Fox did not disclose is that Tremblay is an ardent Obama supporter.

It's the result of an OCR. When I worked at the EPA, we had some pretty advanced ones and they're definitely nifty. Just type whatever you need into the database and the scanned results come up...cuts down on a lot of time searching through files. Actually, the white behind the text gives it away as an OCR thing, and the fact that the whole signature wasn't detected also gives it away 'cause OCR's have a tough time detecting weird texts like signatures. Whoever made that video is grasping at straws.

ps. opening up certain files in Illustrator can result in screwy things sometimes. I'm sure Willie or Screaming_Eagle know way more about that though.
