Huge problem with #9. Since at least SOME forms of governmental humanitarian assistance are taxable, that amounts to a return to taxation without representation, which violates the Declaration of Independence.

So why limit that to medicare/medicaid? Why not to farmers like Michelle Bachmann that rake in hundreds of thousands in federal pork? Why is some welfare bad (to the democratic voting poor), while other welfare (to rich farmers, corporations, etc - ok?

I don't have time to go point by point, so I'll just do number 1 for now. I don't like the idea of cutting all programs across the board by 20%. I'd rather see each program evaluated individually and make the cuts accordingly. Maybe some get cut more than 20%, maybe some get cut less.

Great start but its not nearly radical enough, you need to cut much deeper and get rid of more government agencies.

I like all of the ideas, especially the idea of the poor having to pull some of the wagon or be left behind. Those fu*kers have had a free lunch WAY too long and its time we get something out of them.

I like most of what you have, and could vote for this platform. #15 is the only one I take real issue with, not because I'm opposed to term limits, but because it gives the Senate too much power. A Senate term is for 6 years and a House term is for 2 years. By your platform a Senator could hold office for 12 years and a Representative could only hold office for 4 years. It should be balanced--I would say Senate gets 2 terms and House gets 6 terms. I would also go further and only allow the President one, six-year term. No more spending two years running re-election. One term, and you're done.
