Fargo saved it's self from the flood and the federal government. The government ordered the town to evacuate, the mayor told them to f off. The residence stayed, worked hard sandbagging etc, and saved the town from flooding.

I'm glad that things worked out for Fargo.

That formula didn't work out so well for the residence/residents of New Orleans when Katrina hit.

You are usually better off heeding the warnings.

Yet Fargo has no problem wanting the Federal Government to pay for flood diversion projects...

Show Id to get sand bags but don’t have to show ID to vote and what does 5 sandbags do for you

Which was what the government told them to do. What is your point? Listen to the government when there is no other choice, grab a sandbag and tell the government to f-off when there is a choice?
