If you had the power to remove one member of Congress - House or Senate - which one would you remove?

My vote would be for Nancy Pelosi. She's incompetent and it's scary knowing she's 3rd in line for the presidency.

If I could pick just from my state I would pick Chuck Grassley because he's a fake conservative.

Second the motion. Probably the most incompetent Speaker to ever be seated.

Barney Frank...and Harry Reid...I'd be greedy and get one from each house. Republicans weren't very smart when they went all out to get Tom Daschle defeated...caveat emptor reigned...I'm sure most would rather have him a majority leader than Reid. Remember that Minnesota...Al effin Franken

Franken without a doubt. Reid and Pelosi are probably just as bad but Franken is too close for comfort, and completely unqualified to represent anybody but the far left.

Which is the exact same group Pelosi represents and she's a LOT closer to the button than anybody else.

Franken hasn't even taken office yet...

And Congress needs some good progressive voices, to balance all the loons on the far right, which is all that the Republican Party seems to be able to nominate anymore

Congress needs less loons from both extremes, they might actually get things done if that happened. I know Franken hasn't taken office but he is so far entrenched with the far left and I have heard so much of his BS that I've already had it. This is coming from somebody who doesn't mind the Dems that represent ND.

BTW The Republican Party nominated McCain for president, who was hardly a far right loon.

I know Pelosi is the same, but worse. I guess I'm still in shock that the people of Minnesota could actually elect somebody like Franken.

Hell, I'm in shock thinking about what kind of incumbent is such an incompetent wack-job that he loses to Al Franken. He must have been freaking horrible even by Republican standards, such as they are.

There are obviously a lot of idiots in Minnesota. You would think that they learned their lesson after Gov. Ventura.

Please, please, PUH-LEASE tell me you're not considering Franken a "good progressive voice". He's a fringe wack-job that makes even Obama look like a moderate. Minnesota should have their fcuking STATEHOOD revoked for this bullshit.

Let's assume you're right, A'Griz; what does that say about the incumbent?
