Well, that WOULD be huge from an EV standpoint....and even BIGGER from a "politics" standpoint as I think the last time NY went Donk was for Reagan.

They may teach "Rightin & Rithmetic" down at the good ole Citadel, but apparently Readin' has been suspended: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

"Voter disapproval of President Barack Obama’s handling of the economy is hurting his re- election prospects and improving the outlook for Republican challenger Mitt Romney, a New York Times/CBS News national poll shows." :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

It's only the first paragraph.....

As far as New York state is concerned a Siena College poll that was released on July 15 has Obama up 61%-34%.

I read the headline correctly, but I just checked the site again and they've changed it. Apparently someone at Bloomberg didn't go to a school where they teach rightin.

Anyway, it ain't good news for Obama.

What good news has Obama ever had in the last 3.5 years?

Just sayin'

National poll, smathional poll - only uneducated populace should really care a ton about it. If it mattered that much W would've never been President & we would've had at least 4 years of Al Gore spouting on internet creation & global warming...

Visit a site like http://www.electoral-vote.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and they'll give you a much clearer, realistic & up-to-date view of the races.

Exactly. Obama has not had a chance ever since Rush declared that he wished for Obama's failure, throw in "just say no to everything" Burner taking over the house leadership and the Republican plan is intact. Obama can't do anything but fail, and the Republicans have shown again that Government does not work.

Now if we can just get back to loaning money out to anything that can fog a mirror, start a couple new wars, and get that monthly jobless report up to a half million or more a month, our economy will be restored to the fabulous Bush days, and we can all go back to waiting for the old trickle down to kick in.

Nate Silver
Since 6/1, polls in 10 most important swing states (OH VA NV CO FL MI WI IA PA NH) have shown 39 Obama leads, 9 Romney leads, 4 ties.

Bar some mammoth shift in the political environment - similar to the financial breakdown before the election in 2008 - Romney isn't getting to 270.

You're blaming Limbaugh and Boehner for the failure that is the Obama presidency? That feckless motherfucker had two years of a Dem congress before the GOP took the House. Limbaugh is just a talk radio blowhard to preaches to the choir. He isn't even a factor, but you Dems love to make him out to be the bogeyman, because you have to blame someone for your failures.

Nope, you missed it entirely. I am crediting the Republicans for perfectly stonewalling Obama, and proving that if they try hard enough, they can prove to all that Government is a bad thing.

If the NY Times has it close, Romney must be winning.

If Romney comes within 20 points of Obama in NY it would be a miracle.

Wrong on that being up to date. Example: They have VA as in "Barely Dem" category, with BHO up 47-45, but according to a Quinnipiac released today it is 44-44:
http://www.quinnipiac.edu/institutes-an ... aseID=1778" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
So if electoral-vote.com was up to date they would have VA moved to the "Exactly Tied" category.
