I think most of the "conks" on here are more libertarian in their views. We don't have a bunch of right wing religious zealots on here that would be more toward the authoritarian side.

I think most Americans have at least a little libertarian streak in them. Mine, I think, happens to be a little more than most. I am a religious person, but I don't suppose to think everyone has to adhere to my understandings. That is certainly not a libertarian way of thinking, or a free way of thinking. Some here, though, do consider themselves right wing and are somewhat authoritarian while not being religious. It makes American special that we're very different, not homogenous (no homo:)), and that we can handle changing our leadership without fighting.

It's funny, I have friends who work for and with the Republican Party and they consider me a liberal. Whereas, my friends who work with the Democrats consider me a conservative, but in a better light than my Bushie counterparts. It's funny what titles can do.
