Cowboy Obama won't be exercising with these men.

CS "Change Leader" D1B will be coming to the defense of Obama.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of seven service members who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

They died Aug. 16 in a helicopter crash northeast of Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Killed were:

Chief Warrant Officer Brian D. Hornsby, 37, of Melbourne, Fla., assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii;

Chief Warrant Officer Suresh N. A. Krause, 29, of Cathedral City, Calif., assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii;

Explosive Ordnance Disposal Petty Officer Technician 1st Class Sean P. Carson, 32, of Des Moines, Wash., assigned to an explosive ordnance disposal mobile unit in San Diego;

Special Warfare Operator Petty Officer 1st Class Patrick D. Feeks, 28, of Edgewater, Md., assigned to a West Coast-based naval special warfare unit;

Sgt. Richard A. Essex, 23, of Kelseyville, Calif., assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii;

Sgt. Luis A. Oliver Galbreath, 41, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and

Special Warfare Operator Petty Officer 2nd Class David J. Warsen, 27, of Kentwood, Mich., assigned to a West Coast-based naval Special warfare unit.

With all that honor gained and delivered, no way he loses much if any of it by invading the wrong country for a made up reason, and even declaring victory and spiking the ball on an aircraft carrier years and thousands of casualties before it even started to wind down.

I think the soldier in question showed a great amount of honor by not punching that clown in the teeth.

FACT #2: The soldier REQUESTED the run with Bush after Bush, this past January, visited the hospital where the soldier was staying.

Go punch Obama in the face....he's killed a couple thousand of our soldiers in Afghanistan, with no end in sight...and wounded many more. For what?

One of those soldiers mentioned in Clucks article was 12 years old when this war started.

I'm not disagreeing because I don't try to pretend to be in the heads of political leaders on this. I am sure some don't give a sh1t and others who do. I do know that Bush has been pretty diligent about supporting wounded vets groups, etc well after he was in office and not running for any kind of office. I would generally take anyone at face value on this.

When it comes to stuff like this I am usually vanilla about it. I would only question it if the person was in the process of running for office and had never before shown that kind of interest in the military folks. Otherwise, have at it. It's a gesture.
