That's the problem they are trying to figure out now... it'll be legally tied up for a while. Or maybe they will disappear without a trace as easily as $700 billion.

Well shit, the 1984 society edited the title of my thread over there... guess I'll just start posting my threads over here and allow people over there to poach them.

... I think this is a great first step in his presidency. He is getting something done that can actually be accomplished during his term and is removing something from our midst that has been scarring the face of America. I'd think most Americans didn't like GITMO policies.

He's fixing a problem by closing GITMO...good for him...
