Probably are others, but you have to take France off the list since they bailed our pussy asses out back in the late 1700's.

First: Figure out who in America is 100% the ancestor a slave.

Second: Do you take the money from the general populace? No of course not, to be fair you would have to take only from those that are directly related to Slaveholding familes by BLOOD. SHould the black families of black slaveowners be taxed more heavily?

Third: Do we allow the children to pay for the sins of the father?

Fourth: If this ridiculous thing ever passed, you would see the courts packed.

Fifth: It opens up a huge precedent that won't stop at Slaves. I want reparations for my German, Scottish, Irish and Native American ancestors that were unfairly treated by the United States Gov't.

Sixth: This would not appease anything. Throwing money we DON'T have does not heal wounds or erase history.

I honestly don't think this will pass, i've heard BLACK leaders recommend that reperations should come in the form of reduced tution to schools, etc... and not necessairly some money settlement.

Pussy asses? We took on the worlds most powerful Army and Navy. We had better generals, home field advantage and that's about it. The French dragged thier damn legs, the put off sending what they promised and it was by sheer luck that they were able to corner Cornwallis in at Yorktown.
