In general I agree but "we" own a share of the blame. "We" reelect a large share of the Congress with every opportunity and "we" reelected both 43 and 44.

I agree with Ibanez on this one. Both sides will claim a political victory but I think the Republicans will come out a little worse for the ware.

The 1 major area where Obama has disappointed me is military spending. This is a man who CRUCIFIED the previous administration as it related to military spending, yet he has reneged on Gitmo. and Afghanistan is a lost cause. Uh, hasn't Karzai been in power since about 2005? Why are we still there? My God, take what our nation has WASTED since 2001 on military action and think "what if" every penny of that could've been used for domestic issues. War is an albatross and if sandrag nations want to kill each other, we should have no say so at all.

9/11 should have been a wake up to OUR foreign policies, not a green light to go police the rest of the world and sacrifice our men and women. Obama has lied to us regarding military spending. It's time to end war by setting an example to the rest of the rationally thinking world and bring our troops home FOREVER!

I think the majority of the public will blame the Republicans.

I think it goes back a lot farther than that. More like to 1933 or around then. That, to me, is when the foundation for the structural problems that led to the current situation was laid.

Very true. However, none of you have the balls to vote out incumbents. None of you have the balls to vote for real change or at least a third party.

Enough with the third party talk. There is no way a third party works when you have a minority Donk with long coattails running for President. I understand why many of you liked Gary Johnson, or some other independent. But under these circumstances, it came down to a yes or no vote for Obama. A vote for an independent was a vote for Obama. Not voting was a vote for Obama too. Don't feed me that crap about setting things up for a third party in the future. This is not new. And things haven't changed.

The financial crisis that we continue to face needs to be the number one priority and lead by the party that can be the most responsible for making good financial decisions. The last two elections were PERFECT time to launch a third party but I almost think it need a strong national candidate to rally behind. The two parties responsible for the financial crisis have too tight of a grip though.
