Around 10:30 p.m. last Wednesday, Matt Fugate was in his bedroom when he heard an unexpected commotion, WFIE-TV reports.
When Fugate ran to investigate, he was shocked to find two men in his home assaulting his brother.
"I raced for the gun vault and had my gun in my hand in 5-seconds..." he remarked.
Fugate quickly ran back to the scene of the commotion and told the intruders not to move, and to keep their up.
The power dynamic now considerably altered, Fugate's brother John was able to call police.
"I just had somebody kick down my door," John told the operator, "and my brother has [them] at gunpoint on the floor."
Suspects
22-year-old Paul Lukac and 24-year-old Justin Henschen are accused of the robbery.

These situations happen every day across America and if any of you think that banning guns is the answer you are sorely wrong. When honest folks don't have guns only the criminals will have them and the cops will still be 10 minutes away when they are needed 10 seconds ago.

His gun safe must not be very secure if he was able to get to it and have a gun in his hand within 5 seconds.

Gun safes are for liberals that dont know shit about guns........its why the NRA lets them make laws while sitting back taking it in the ass.

It's OK 'skins we're not here to judge, some effeminate males just aren't comfortable being around that much masculinity.

I accidentally hit the panic alarm on my house alarm and it took the local cops around 10 minutes to get there. I'm two miles from the police department and a mile from downtown where they're concentrated.

Almost victim showed good gun control
AZ:Attempted robbery ends with victim shooting suspect, police say (Update)
YumaSun ^ | 30 April, 2013 | James Gilbert
Katz went on to tell the court that Rivas was the alleged getaway driver in the crime and waited in the car around the corner while Estrada and his brother approached the victim.
"The victim was in town visiting a family member and was standing outside a residence when he was approached by two males," Katz said. "They demanded his wallet, when he didn’t comply, they demanded his wallet again. It was at that point that they brandished a weapon and (the victim), himself a gun owner, took out his own .45-caliber weapon. Refusing to be a victim, he fired and struck one of the assailants in the neck."
After running from the scene, Katz said the Estrada brothers ran back to the getaway car and Rivas drove to Yuma Regional Medical Center, where they were later arrested.

Bullshit exaggeration. Typical gun fuck fantasy, hero embellishment.
