HELENA (AP) - A study released Friday by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks says the elk population in some parts of the state has dropped dramatically because of wolf predations but warns that the trend does not apply to all areas.
The study found that since 2004, wolves killed more elk than hunters did in the northern Yellowstone National Park herd. Since 2005, wolves killed more adult cow elk than hunters, and in all but one year since 2002, wolves killed more bull elk than hunters.

Don't you realize that it is not the wolves fault. That mean old God made them that way. If they rip your dog, cattle or even your kids to shreds, it is his fault or Sarah Palin's.........
These lib shits like Ashley Judd make me want to fucking vomit!!!!!!! Keep killing them to protect your cattle, moose, elk. Just chop off the head and tail of one and mail it to me in South Carolina. Will look great over my fireplace.

Coming from you, I actually chuckled. Am really doing my best, if you saw the other thread in LR, to let go. Wish me well. Oh, btw I'm voting for Eric Rudolph in 2012.

Californian's are the classiest of all the worlds people.
The Statue of Liberty is actually housing a nuclear missile silo.

Actually the lantern is really a laser beam for missile defense. That's why the statue has been closed the last couple of years so they could complete installation.

But the same study, led by FWP and Montana State University, found little apparent influence by local wolf packs on elk populations in parts of western Montana.
“One-size-fits-all explanations of wolf-elk interactions across large landscapes do not seem to exist,” said Justin Gude, FWP’s chief of wildlife research in Helena.
The study notes that habitat, weather patterns, hunting, and the presence of other large predators and livestock also play a role.
So we have ONE study, from a game and fish department...

Other "large predators" aren't multiplying like rabbits, Jon.
