Tell Me Again Why Ron Paul...

... Is not our President...

The man speaks the truth, and we ignore him...speaking about his fellow Republicans and their opposition to the stimulus package, Paull said...
"It is like they're born-again budget conservatives," Paul said. "Where were we in the past eight years, when we could have done something? And you see our last eight years that has set this situation up. So we can't blame the Democrats for the conditions we have.

"We have to blame both parties and presidents of the last several decades to have generated this huge government."

Because he's not compelling to the media, they don't cover him, and the mindless ones want to not think and have a president who will give them things--even if it ruins the country.

I really wished I would've. Can't believe I voted for McCain. Not that it would've mattered as it was going to Obama no matter, but I do wonder why the MSM is scared of Ron Paul? Perhaps, the puppet masters have the most to lose if somebody like a Ron Paul is elected President.

This is what pisses me off more than anything. NOW these assholes find their spines and say that we need to cut spending. Vote them all out.

Ron Paul - isn't he the guy that got boo'd at all the Republican debates?

Paul has some good ideas, but it is very clear that the mainstream Republican Party wants nothing to do with him.

It's also very clear that the mainstream Republican Party has just become right-wing Democrats...big government spending, just different priorities than the Democrats...

And it's abundently clear the mainstream Republican Party cannot win a national election without ideas...just with Karl Rove scare tactics... UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Except the Republicans haven't figured out you actually need to RAISE the money before you spend it...

But you're stuck on spending...which means you gotta borrow or tax...either way...

How about reducing spending, and let people keep the money they earn....which use to be the Republican way

Wait, that would mean no give-aways to those not willing to work for a living...The Democratic Way...

The short answer is because most people vote for the guy that gets the most free air time from the news. Or the guy that looks the best in the pictures that they see. Let's face it. It is a popularity contest like the elections held in high school. Nothing has changed.

Because with too many republicans national sovereignty, fiscal responsibility, and sensible monetary policy are not as important as bombing them ay-rabs, not letting the 4th amendment undermine the war on terr'ism, and keeping the queers from getting joint checking accounts.

he was on the primary ballot. Even though JMc had already sewn up the nomination, I still voted my conscience.
