To show that both sides of politics are still full of crazies, heres a look at what the Tea Party has to say about immigration.
I never knew that if I had a kid with a non american they would be worhtless.

From those incredible blood lines of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington and John Smith. And all these great Americans, Martin Luther King. These great Americans who built this country. You came from them. And the unique thing about being from that part of the world, when you learn about breeding, you learn that you cannot breed Secretariat to a donkey and expect to win the Kentucky Derby. You guys have incredible DNA and don’t forget it.

Just wow. I mean, I've always felt that the Tea Party has shown undertones of racism, but the donkey/DNA comment is over-the-top. I can understand their opposition to giving undocumented immigrants a pathway to citizenship as that's a divisive issue among all parties and independents, but that's simply a terrible way to project their message.

The ironic part is that he talks about the diveristy is what makes us great. White, black, Mormon, yet and any new immigrants to the mix and suddenly we aren't pure. Reminds of Hitlers perfect race.
Comments like this from the Tea Party drive people away from the GOP. Comments from the Donks side drive people away too. And then people wonder why no one votes.

I identify with some of the core gripes of the Tea Party. Any movement like this is going attract the nuts (Lord knows the left has its share), but by all means, lets throw out the baby with the bath water and discard the notion that cumbersome taxation and huge government are actually OK, just because there are some vocal assnecks on the fringe of the group.

Just wish people wouldn't prop up these nuts. Palin and Cruz should have distanced themselves from his views. He needs to be put in check and told he is hurting the cause.
Media on both sides likes ot poin tout crazy over the non crazy

Ted Cruz is a cum laude graduate of Princeton University and a Harvard Law graduate (magna cum laude). He was the first Hispanic to ever clerk for a Chief Justice (Rehnquist), the first Hispanic Solictor General in the state of Texas and the youngest Solicitor General in the state of Texas.
You may not agree with his politics, but I highly doubt he falls into any form of "stupid"...unless by "stupid" you mean ANY Hispanic who deigns to not toe the "party" line and fall in with the rest of the sheep in support of the donk party.
Palin? Flame away....

Of course. I don't care for them. I was just commenting that if the nuts don't represent the party then call them out. But in reality those two are nuts in a way.

I guess 20 weeks isn't long enough to make up you mind if you want it or not. I mean you got to know the sex first so you can have that son.

Now they are going for first heartbeat, at 6 weeks.

You don't live in Arizona anymore - you can't talk about Brewer that way.

Yeah that one is harder to agree with. I have no problem with 20 weeks. But many girls don't realize they are pregnent at 6 weeks. Or if there are health issues that could harm the mother. That said, I'm gald Texas is leaving things pro choice but putting boundries on it.

The fringe has a way of speaking for the group... and co-opting the movement for their own use
and unless the primary group are prepared to chase them away, they will in fact take over. (see Religious Right or NRA)
We have a culture now, both Left and Right conservative and liberal who will not stand up to (and chase away) the fringe... for a multitude of reasons (that is an entire other topic)
In Short: The Fringe becomes The Voice / Every time

I learned today that Palin was not at the event where this guy made his comments, but Huffpo used a picture with them both together.
Somebody in a comments section said it was someone sucking every last bit of political milk out of Palin's tits. I liked that optic.
