That started a long time ago and was brought to fruition with your boy Bush. He was the biggest Socialist president we have had since FDR.

Eight years of Bush-brand socialism pushed us to the edge...

Four years of Obama Socialism trying to "fix" those eight years could kill us...

The medicine could kill us faster than the original disease...

We need to start all over again...another revolution might be in order...

Who is going to lead it? You gonna risk everything to do so?

Well, as my high school english teacher was so fond of saying...

"The Turtle does not get ahead without sticking his neck out..."

I'm not jumping up to be the head guy...but I consider this country important enough to stick my neck out some...I don't think I'll be risking everything...I think Barry has already done that for me...

 There's quite a few countries out there that support socialism Jon...and they look like FANTASTIC places to live.

For starters:
China (you and Ralph could be SO happy together)
Russia
Venezuela
do I need to continue?

Either you believe in what the Constitution says and what this country was founded on, or you don't. I take it you don't...if you did you wouldn't support socialism and you'd support TRUE FREEDOM like what Dr. Paul talks about. My guess is you like being the victim. Blaming society for your inability to marry when really it is the fault of your all powerful government. Of course, you'd never admit it because you think the government should parent everyone. I find it funny you hate Bush so much. Take away his socialistic views on social issues and he is your exact type of big government, big spending liberal. Your logic really blows my mind. It truly is astonishing that you drink the kool-aid and don't realize that more personal freedom is how you achieve TRUE EQUALITY. What a joke.

You're right, it's called the MSM. They like government subsidies and news stories to keep their business going. They don't want someone who wants personal freedom above all, that would hurt their bottom lines, but of course, they're not really a fan of "Capitalism." What a crock of sh!t.

Yeah, personal freedom would be such a bad thing for those seeking "equality." SMH.

If/ when it was possible to get up enough people for a revolt (not necessarily militarily) aboslutely I'll lead it. Why not? I'm not rich so I don't have much to lose. If I lost everything and we lost the revolt, then I could just be a good sheep and live in your utopian society of mooching off the government.

You are deluding yourself if you just think MSM didn't consider Dr. Paul a serious candidate. The whole Republican Party establishment denegrated him as well - from Limbaugh/Hannity, to the booing at the debates all across the country.

See, I don't think things are as bad as you. We need changes, yes. We need to reclaim the country from the financial elitists. But all in all, things are good in this country. Especially if you are heterosexual.

Why? Ron Paul is against Gay Adoption and Gay Marriage. He is against Gays in the military. He thinks that sodomy should be illegal.

Ron Paul offers NOTHING for freedom and equality in this country. His policies, if adopted, would set civil rights back, especially in many backwards areas of the country.

And one other thing. Voting to "Return civil rights to the states" or leaving civil rights decisions to the states is the same as opposing them, IMHO.

The individual states have shown time and time again that they are incapable of honoring civil rights equality for all citizens.

I listened to several of the debates, and if I heard any booing towards Paul, it was partially masked by cheers. Take a look at this clip. 1:18-1:40 is IMO the best soundbyte by any wannabe candidate of any party during the entire 2008 election season. He got cheers for saying it and you can't hear any boos.

The debates were also stacked against him in that the moderators were asking him stupid questions all the time - "OMG are you electable?" "OMG are you running for the right party?" "OMG do you REALLY want commercial ariline pilots to have guns?" "OMG you really want to abolish the department of education?" "OMG do you really want to abolish the IRS - what are you some kind of anarchist?". It was all throwing out just the right questions to elicit knee-jerk reactions and not give RP any real time to explain himself. Near the end of the campaign I was at the point where I was going to go nuts if I read one more stupid left-wing blogger say that RP wants to abolish all public education or one more dumb neocon blogger talk about Ron Paul's ratings with the ACLU and the teachers unions. He's also taken a lot of heat for his association with Alex Jones. Boo f^&*ing hoo. Jones says some very crazy things but he has more patriotism in his fingernails than many neocon congressmen have in their entire body.
