Prominent Orchard Park man charged with beheading his wife

Orchard Park police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband — an influential member of the local Muslim community — reported her death to police Thursday.

Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.

I think this might have ruined his plan to portray the religion of peace in a positive light.

Christianity is a religion that is supposedly based on love and tolerance, yet I don't see you posting stories about these guys. What gives?

I've dealt with those assholes first hand and know it is more about attention and money than anything else. And I have previously posted articles about them in the past.

WTAG, I've seen the Phelps clan pointed out many, many times when they hit the news. More than any Muslim stuff and they are a very small faction as I assume this Muslim dude is. May not have been by Hi5 but I do know that the Phelp's clan is using words that are offensive and not actually killing "fags" or the rest of us "fag enablers".

I guess I took a couple minutes too long posting my reply and I stand corrected as apparently HI5 has posted on their behalf.

I'm not at all excusing what the guy did, nor do I object to you posting the story, HI5. I just get the impression from your comment at the end that this kind of thing is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear :"Muslim". I know a few Muslims that go to school here in Missoula, and I can tell you that they're as warm and friendly as any Christian I've ever met.

A few bad seeds can ruin any group as a whole, and while Islam may have more bad seeds than Christianity, they aren't all psychotic murderers, and I think it's unfortunate that a lot of Americans only think of Muslims as murderers. This probably isn't the case with you, I just thought I'd get that out there.
