Medicare checks.....Really?

Textbooks, teacher salaries, most highways, etc. are predominately funded through state and local governments. "Progressives" are so dum...

The point is, we have screwed up priorities, and more of the Federal tax budget should be spent on infrastructure and education- just because a small percentage of it now is spent on those things doesn't mean we shouldn't be spending more.

Just because the Fed currently pays little into Education and Infrastructure and we notice those are very underfunded by our federal taxpayer dollar percentage wise right now, doesn't mean that's acceptable, or is a good policy or that they shouldn't be covered by Federal Taxes more-

You are in fact kind of proving the point of the Meme.. That we are taking away money/underfunding areas which we should be funding more (infrastructure, education) and spending that money instead on missiles that are hell of expensive to attack countries that had nothing to do with anything besides being oil-rich and other pork military money that ultimately do us no good (unless you own a large oil company).

Wow. Baldy misses the point and Spanos nails it. Nice. :thumb:

No, the point is that I was making fun of some idiot who posts on Reddit and goes by the name of "thefattestman22" who actually believes there are things called "Medicare Checks"; and in no small part the dumbass who thought it was profound enough to make a meme out of it. :dunce:

That OR it's an old picture. That doesn't even look like a modern Tomahawk.
