Better late than never, conservatives are starting to acknowledge that the Bush presidency did nothing to help their cause...

And in the first major conservative convention since the end of the Bush era, there is little if any celebration of the past eight years...

Actually, I've been hearing several pundits over the past month refer to the Bush/Obama "big government".

Bush oversaw a den of thieves, and had no conscience to interfer.

And the Republican's refusal to not only address, but even to acknowledge, this lack of oversight and conservative values (small "c".......fiscal conservatism, not social) is the main reason they lost this election.....Obama is no messiah, but at least he's not afraid to acknowledge when he makes a mistake(see Douchle episode).........for now at least....
