Berkeley, California.
Merchants are cleaning up broken glass and taking stock of what was looted from downtown Berkeley stores Sunday night after protesters angered by police killings in Missouri and New York clashed with officers, vandalized stores and fought with each other, police said.
Berkeley police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer Coats said police arrested five people in connection with the Sunday night demonstrations.
Two officers sustained minor injuries. One protester was injured when he was assaulted with a hammer when he attempted to keep other protesters from looting a downtown electronics store.
He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Coats said.
The police statement said there was "significant damage" to several Berkeley businesses and that many had windows smashed and several stores were looted.

Thought that was weird too, but those two cities are 1) a military town and 2) a VERY wealthy town

That line in the middle is meaningless...
Dallas Texas is on the Liberal side of it - I've spent a lot of time in Dallas
That line needs to be MOVED significantly
Any chart that shows Dallas as liberal is just plain wrong

Nonsense, I have always lived among political zealots from both sides and will continue to do so. I mean, I come on this board every day despite the intolerance each side has for opposing points of view.

You are a lost soul.
Dallas, the city of, is certainly Liberal. Most Dallas residents are transients from the North. Surrounding counties are much more conservative, but the city itself, is simply another example of what happens when you get a lot of people wanting government to take care of their lives.
Lived there for 4 years, during which time a Black city council person openly complained in a press conference that the Mexicans in the city hadn't, "earned" their share, as the Blacks had, of money dedicated to minorities and that the funds should only be spend on Black projects.

PEACEFUL PROTEST! PEACEFUL PROTEST! PEACEFUL PROTEST! PEACEFUL PROTEST!
So dumbass white fucks with "white guilt" are out protesting the thought that the cops are out to kill unsuspecting black people. Fully buying into the BS. Meanwhile, the outlaws are just out to get theirs. White man tries talking sense to those he is siding with. Old man gets KO'ed by a hammer. Looting goes on.
Pathetic!

I was down in Union square NYC and Harlem last weekend and saw about a half dozen "protests". 95% of the protestors are a joke, either just there to say they were there or really just too young to get it. Most of them were laughing and just having a grand ol time.

Columbia Law School has agreed to defer final exams for all of the students who were allegedly shocked and traumatized by the Ferguson and Garner grand jury decisions. Harvard and Georgetown students have asked for the same favor.
A nation of pussies, I tell you.

It's so hard to have respect for Columbia anymore.
Just be honest -- you're giving African-American students time off from studying and preparing for final exams so they can go protest. Who has the time to study to when there's protesting which must be done?
I hadn't heard about Harvard and Georgetown students asking for the same accommodation, but I hope the schools say no way.

I have been so shocked and traumatized I'll need a few extra months to pay my 4th quarter estimated taxes.
