That's nice. Still wondering why I'm not seeing Don Lemon crying like a little baby on my TV over this?

I'm not talking about an article on a website. Where is the wall to wall coverage on CNN, MSNBC, or any of the other networks with chyrons blazing, and their townhall meetings.

Do a Google search for those and point me in the right direction.
I don't watch Don Lemon, or much of any of the TV news affiliates. You will have to talk to their news directors. Shootings of innocent people are terrible no matter who they are. I'm sure the national news has their own agenda, but this is cs.com, and we have a thread basically downgrading African Americans for their violence. Is that not the same thing as what the news networks are doing, only in a more belligerent way? What happen to all the great African American posters we had on cs.com? This thread looks like it came out of a David Duke election campaign.
Who were they again? Wasn't it just dal and the guy from Delaware St? I don't think they ever ventured outside of the football threads anyway, and the DSU guy is still around.

I'm all for ending that thread, but let's be honest, that has about zero to do with who is or isn't on this site.

MrKlean and Tampajag are 2 more I remember right off the top, and you don't see DSU and DAL very often anymore, if at all.

There has been a lot of posts on other threads with these types of overtones, and threads like this don't help. How many new members have we had in the last year, that have contributed to this site?

Again, when did those guys ever post on something other than a MEAC thread? I think you're imagining contributions that were never there. And I think I remember MrKlean was a whacko (which means he should fit in perfectly around here).

MrKlean was Georgia Southern not MEAC. Tampajag is a great guy and they participated in a lot of post on cs.com, not related to MEAC. MrKlean had 3794 post and Tampajag 7527, DSU 5111, Dal 9075.

They are called mass school shootings. White male with gun mows down school kids, have you ever heard of that?
:dunce: Yeah, and those are all over the national news for days or weeks.

But this wasn’t a mass shooting, or in school. Try to stay on topic.

Do exclamation points count?

Those would make Dal the most prolific poster on CS

I think he made an appearance a couple weeks ago

But it shouldn’t be any mystery that a thread like this one would make them think they aren’t welcome around here

Has the ethos of CS.com/AGS really changed over the years, or is it society's?

Some of the racial humor and race baiting Cap'n Cat and D1B did in the golden years of the AGS Lounge would get them mistaken for 4chan posters today, no doubt about that. But no one except maybe that HIU93 guy or klean could really think either of those 2 guys are racist.

Today not being racist means completely policing your language and conforming to 8,000 often-contradictory rules of "being an ally" instead of just being fair to people of all colors. So of course people like Tman and Cap'n Cat would get called racist while patronizing white liberals are seen as woke.

Yup. MLS fans (yes, they allowed some fans) in Dallas booed the two teams on the field for kneeling during the anthem last night. One of the players expressed his disappointment in the fans reaction during the presser after the game. Somebody posts the story on FB and one of the comments was that it was the players right to kneel and the fans right to boo. He was labelled a racist by a lot of folks replying after. :suspicious:

It was a thread about the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis, protest in Minnespolis, not the world-wide riots, you are just like a Democrat, making up rules as you go.

The the contrary, just like a donk, you don't pay attention to how we've done it in the past. Go back to all the previous over the years 'Here We Go Again (insert your city here)' threads we've had. When the rioting/looting/violence expanded from the that city where the incident happened, to other cities around the country, people have posted about the rioting/looting/violence around the country in the 'Here We Go Again (insert your city here)' thread until the next outrage came along and a new 'Here We Go Again (insert your city here)' was started.

If he had waited on the MSM to report it, he would have had a long wait. That's the whole point.

If a story can't be used to support the leftist MSM's narratives, they won't report it, no matter how egregious the crime.

Well, they can start with ones that are particularly heinous, as the execution of a 5-yr old boy. Then maybe the 50% of murders committed by 13% of the population. There is no need to report nationally on each murder, but failing to address the propensity of a minority population to commit murder and other violent crimes, is journalistic negligence.
