At least 100 Ku Klux Klan recruitment fliers were found Sunday on lawns in two Fullerton neighborhoods, police said.

Flyers, individually enclosed in Ziploc bags along with a small rock and a Tootsie Pop, were discovered in the 400 block of West Amerige and 200 block of North Yale avenues, said Fullerton police Sgt. Kathryn Hamel.

There is no indication the neighborhoods were specifically targeted by the KKK, Hamel said.

“These are very quiet neighborhoods,” she said. “It seems very random.”

In addition, the fliers included purported statistics about ethnic crime trends. It encouraged those who received the fliers to join the KKK.

The fliers also listed the web address and phone number for the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan based in Pelham, N.C., the largest KKK organization in the U.S.

A call placed Monday to the phone number resulted in a recorded message praising Dylann Roof for his suspected killing of nine black worshipers at a church last week in Charleston, S.C.

That's the beauty of America and the freedoms we enjoy. Even after a guy shoots up a church, even keeping alive a person to be a witness, and then admitting to the crime when apprehended, there will still be whackos out there who feel the need to send in money for his defense, as if he wasn't already going to have representation. But hey, that's America and the freedom we have - you can be as stupid as you want in this country, and many take full advantage of that luxury.

The first article you posted was so full of speculation and poor investigative work I feel pretty comfortable disregarding the whole thing

There is no 4 million dollars anywhere in the whole U.S. that supremacist groups are going to throw behind Roof.... they aren't that loyal and they are STRAPPED - I call complete BS on it - and the fact that someone felt it necessary to post a screenshot of some ambiguous donor site literally is a play right out of the Nigerian scam book - and I know Nigerian scams. A bunch of white supremacists on food stamps decided not to pay their electrical bills for six months just to send 3500 bucks to Dylan Roof - makes total sense

and the last sentence - tying Judge Gosnell's statement to why money is being donated? That's pure clickbait - the articvle itself calls it speculation - no wonder you went for it, Jon

Finally- Pelham, NC is in my home county - Caswell County, NC.

To give a little perpective - Caswell County - the WHOLE county has maybe 20k people in it, and we may have slipped below 20k. Pelham is not really a town, it is crossroads - and the KKK organization that resides there is literally a couple dudes who claim to have hudreds of thousands of members. More like 100k Facebook friends. Last year a friend of mine got a flyer in their driveway - poorly done in Microsoft Word with badly cropped pics - asking them to join the KKK - it was the first anyone in Caswell County was even aware that there was a KKK presence anywhere nearby.

So they found someone in Fullerton on Facebook willing to join their crusade and put flyers and tootsie pops in peoples' driveways

Very sophisticated crew there - I hope they don't get into the insurance biz or vacuum cleaner sales or anything like that they'll upend the whole industry

I call BS on this story. 4 million in little over a week. That's real good. Too good for this coward.
