Winter is Coming - Mini Ice Age on the Way - Maybe

Apparently the Starks were correct, Winter is Coming. That is the non-peer reviewed study so far on potential reduction in solar activity in the next 15 years says we might have one.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morn ... -not-true/
Just copied the one link from the Washington Post, tons of other ones. The one quote I liked, though, was this one:
“We have some interesting hints that solar activity is associated with climate, but we don’t understand the association,” Dean Pesnell, a NASA scientist who worked on one of the 2011 studies about the grand minimum, told National Geographic at the time.
He basically said that the sun might, just might, play a part with weather on the Earth. My kindergartner agrees, the sun does impact life here on Earth. No job offers from NASA yet though.

Putting the word "climate" next to "science" is comical. They're predicting 15 years out when we can't even get a reliable hurricane season forecast? Heck, our local guys here are right about what's happening
today about 60% of the time.
They do get sunrise/sunset times correct. Just like the Mayans did.

The sun is a big ball of burning hydrogen....it's almost surely easier to model and predict it than an entire biosphere with a bajillion moving parts that all interact. I take this more seriously than climate predictions.
I think it would be funny if global temperatures made a drop and then all of the climate alarmists who have said that solar activity doesn't matter in warming will all of the sudden change their tune about it affecting temperatures.
Sort of like how ocean heat content data only matters in explaining the steady temperatures over the last 15 years and not in determining that the warming of the 20th century is anomalous.

Wait, the sun effects the weather here? Fuck, I thought it was just a coincidence that it cooled off when a cloud blocked that fucker!

When it cools down, we'll be forced to sleep under our SUV's to stay warm.
Seriously, the next POTUS will be announcing a series of austerity measures necessary to respond to the impending climate changes, some will suspend certain civil rights and require the working class to pay increased taxes and sacrifice minor quality of life amenities like vacation, travel, outdated common comforts like single family homes, heating, three meals/day, 40 hr work week (moving to 60 hr standard), and a limit of 1child per couple...just what's "necessary" to deal with the impending climate change.

I prefer man made ice age rather than man made global warming. An extra blanket and having to move south is much easier than putting in a pool/
