To dispute the adage that Marriage is a sanctimonious joining of unwilling teenagers, Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin have "split the sheets."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/bristol_palin

Nobody is thinking the big whoop-te-do about the teen love, being married, dropping out of high school to become a journeyman electrician but taking the GED, dropping out of high school to take care of little baby Tripp but taking the GED, absistence only, etc, etc, etc, and blah, blah, blah was at any time contrived and blown up just for political reasons.

Another broken home that could have been prevented with three quarters and a trip to the corner gas station.....or a blowjnob...maybe Sarah's preacher/voodoo doctor didn't get a chance to bless this holy union....

T-man and Baldy, October, 2008:

"John McCain could not have picked a better running mate than Sarah Palin."

Just wanted to point that little gem out. Again.

He'd have lost by more votes than he did if he had not picked Palin. He may be a hero and a former POW, but he's not presidential material. Obama was more presidential, or presented himself as a better leader, that's why he won.

Colin Powell is the only person that would have been better, and he was an Obama supporter.

Disagree Gil. IMO, McCain would have been better off with a moderate like Tom Ridge. Yes he would have risked alienating the far right but I think they would have voted for him anyway out of fear of an Obama presidency. Ridge or another moderate would have helped get more independents to vote for McCain.

We'll have to agree to disagree. IMO, Ridge, Pawlenty, Mitt Muffin, etel were pretty safe, status quo choices. McCain needed to make a statement to gain support, and he did with Palin. As an independent, Palin made me at least think of voting for McCain, because of her fiscal work in Alaska.

More proof that a "conservative" is not TRULY conservative. Sarah is, I'm sure, dreading 2012 when Bristol shows up at the DNC in support of Obama.
