Cue Trump calling Will a "loser".

Which RINO will get your support?Ivytalk wrote:As usual, Will got to the heart of the matter.
Actually, I think he explained it early in the article.Chizzang wrote:Republican apologetics from George Will
I never thought I'd live to see this day - good lord the sky must be falling
But George forgot to explain why this duck (that walks and talks like one) isn't
And fondly recalling 1962 communist hysteria isn't really working to clear things up
It would have been more intellectually honest if George Will just said "Vote for Walker"
instead he chose to say "vote for Walker" by saying "Don't vote for Trump"
*Yawn
Actually, the splainin' was done in the last sentence.CitadelGrad wrote:Actually, I think he explained it early in the article.Chizzang wrote:Republican apologetics from George Will

Yeah he did. But not in the way that you think.Ivytalk wrote:As usual, Will got to the heart of the matter.
The Walker stuff is old news, poundpud, and if you read Will regularly, you would have seen that disclaimer several times before.houndawg wrote:Yeah he did. But not in the way that you think.Ivytalk wrote:As usual, Will got to the heart of the matter.![]()

The cream of the jest is, of course, that that loony business man George refers to was founding member Fred Koch, whose sons, (high ranking Birchers themselves in the 60s, owners of Scott Walker, the candidate who pays Will's wife's salary), are the tail that wags the GOP dog.
George may still have a bit more splainin to do...
Why 5th beer, and book club organizing? In every town large enough to have two traffic lights there is a bar at the back of which sits the local Donald Trump, nursing his fifth beer and innumerable delusions....
tea partyers, those earnest, issue-oriented, book-club organizing activists...
Speak for yourself, klam. Didn't you see the condescending sarcasm in that juxtaposition?kalm wrote:Why 5th beer, and book club organizing? In every town large enough to have two traffic lights there is a bar at the back of which sits the local Donald Trump, nursing his fifth beer and innumerable delusions....

Careful George, you're alienating an awful lot of the base.
Will can at times make sense but I think it's safe to say we're all a little dumber for reading this article.
Glad to see you have a new obsession, Katehoundawg wrote: closed circuit to CID: (George has some nice words in his column you could use in your posts to "non-sequitur" a break for a while.)
I fail to see how he is ingratiating himself with the political elite, especially the GOP establishment.LeadBolt wrote:Donald Trump is a side show. At the end of the day it appears that his objective is to message his ego and gain respectability within the political elite. How far he is willing to go to do that is the question. He will have a very powerful voice in who becomes the next president, using his own money not that of others. I see no way that it will be the Donald and my guess is that when he started, neither did he.

If you don't want me pointing out your daily logical fallacies then don't use them
The Confederate doo rag obsession was getting old- BTW were you ever able to find a pic of me wearing one?

All you can muster is your tired old Koch brothers schtick. You aren't even original. Don't you have some irrigation to attend to?

I don't believe I've ever mentioned that Scoot Walker is owned by the Kochs or that Will's wife works for Walker.![]()
I could be wrong, you may want to check. CID is probably your best source if you, too, are fascinated by all things houndawg.
How much money has Trump spent compared to guys like Walker and Rubio?houndawg wrote:Always good to see an ordinary billionaire getting hisPwns wrote:BTW, this is a good lesson in democracy…the candidate who isn't flush with cash from the Koch brothers and Citizens United money is leading the pack. Ivytalk seems particularly peevish about the subject. Were many of these people ruining the country his old schoolmates or something?kalm wrote:Conks sure are getting defensive about who funds their ideas.houndawg wrote:
