"Gas prices are plunging around the country, with the national average falling in 24 out of the past 30 days, according to AAA. The price of a gallon of regular now stands at $2.04 nationally, down 14¢ compared to one month ago and 74¢ lower than this time last year. In early 2015, the national average dropped near the $2 mark but never crossed it..."

The Saudis are pump, pump, pumping.

The problem for them is that the US shale companies are not fold, fold, folding.

And as soon as the Saudis cut their spigot (which OPEC is screaming for), North Dakota turns its right back on and floods the market.

Short of war with Iran, gas should be low for a long time.

Filled up my truck for $31. Thanks Obama! :thumb:

Seriously, we should consider giving him a third term. We really should.

Nobody wants Hillary, and personally, I'm voting for Willie Nelson, on account of having sworn a mickle oath. Bernie's the best all around pick, but his strongest appeal is to a demographic that doesn't vote. The conks have made it plain that they aren't the slightest bit interested in winning the next election by putting forth a slate of candidates that have managed to make Donald fvcking Trump look like a political heavyweight.

Seriously. BHO is the next FDR. :thumb:

Obama did this? I thought it was American ingenuity, manpower and capitalism.

Willie won't make it to election day. Sorry to break the news to ya. Not that that really matters in your world, I suppose. :coffee:

Well, that, as well as (again) THANK YOU FRACKING!!!! The ability to have fracking on private lands where the government can't stop the activity (only properly regulate it) is by far one of the biggest game changers on the world stage of this century. Watching the Saudi's pump to the tilt and still not be able to drive the US frackers out of the market is something we never could've imagined 10-25 years ago. Who knew that American energy independence would've been as a result of fracking and the inability of the government to stop it? American ingenuity is alive and well! :thumb:

Around 50% of our oil and natural gas are currently coming from fracking. And despite the slowdown in rig production ND, NM, OK, TX, and LA are estimated to have higher combined output than Venezuela and Kuwait.

What is the environmental impact? How about the local economic impact?
