Nothing wrong with that if the teacher is prior military or law enforcement..

No thanks. Teachers have enough to worry about as it is. No need adding "gunslinger" to the list. Get properly armed guards in schools and that should be enough. Hell when I was in HS our school district had armed school police at its disposal. Problem solved.

Partly agree, but there should be 1 of the following 4 in at least every school:
1. School resource police officer.
2. Trained armed security officer.
3. Police substation in or at the school (a classroom, office, or trailer).
4. Any prior military or law enforcement, licensed teachers have option of carrying if not the above 1, 2, 3.

As a teacher, why would you want the liability of having a firearm in your classroom?
