Glad I'm missing it. Meanwhile, we collect a lot of crap in 8-9 yrs. I'm seriously having a large yard sale in January.

Smack down #2 and #4 Trump v Bush. Damn thought they were about to come blows...Course Blitzer & Hewitt are egging it on by repeated questions to Bush, "Gov Bush, Trump said this" and Trump said that..

Smack down #3 Christie v Paul...

Course have been other smackdowns but these are the ones that have stood out.

-Big winners tonight think were Cruz and Christie..

-Paul did well

-Fiorina did well

-Trump was Trump

-Bush is done...

-Kasitch was ok but he is done..

-Carson is done

Meh. Rubio proved once again why he will draw a significant amount of the Brown vote (see pathway to citizenship), while also verifying why Team Brown sees Cruz as "just a Canadian". :coffee:

Didn't see all of it but caught a lot of it. I can agree with this. Still not sure why Christie, Paul, and Kasitch are even on the stage. Christie sound ok, but dear God is he a fat ass. He doesn't pass the pie...er I mean eye test. Carson can gtfo too. Wow is he completely lost up there.

Trump had some lolable moments. Still have no fucking idea what the Nuclear Triad is even after it was explained directly to him by the moderators. :dunce:

Oh and how about when Cruz got on is knees and sucked off Trump. Wow what tool bag...another reason why Team Brown will not support Cruz.

Oh and jeb...

Looks like some disagreement among conks about Cruz's strategy of picking up the 'tard vote when Trump inevitably gets bored with making the nation the laughingstock of the solar system and decides to do something else.

Anybody else think Cruz looks like the love child of Data from Star Trek and Pee Wee Herman?

No. He looks more like a Canadian Joe Isuzu.

Keep trying. :coffee:

I just caught the highlights this morning on Today. I kind of liked Bush going off a bit on the donald saying "you can't insult your way into the White House" except that every single candidate does exactly that. :? The other soundbites across the board were pretty unremarkable - it's really a pretty sad showing overall.

Trump is (and always has been) obsessed with the cult of personality and what his poll numbers are - more so than any other candidate I think I've ever seen. If given the opportunity he'll mention his poll numbers as a defense of why he's a superior candidate without actually giving any of us any specific ideas on what he'd do as president besides build a big wall to the south.

Yep. If he can't take The Donald then how's he going to hold up against the smug, cutesy, unsubstantive sound bite quips from the Dem candidates like, "The 1980s called, they want their foreign policy back"?

So being fat is disqualifying?
Sure it is. Cavorting with known terrorists isn't a disqualifier (see "Obama"), nor is being a known philanderer (see "Clinton, Bill") or a violator of federal law (see "Clinton, Hildabeast"), but overweight? See ya....

edit: Plus, he had the audacity to close a lane of a bridge. Or not. You decide. Either way, it disqualifies him from being president.

Whatever he looks like, he's flat out creepy. He looks like a caricature to me. I can't tell if this is photoshopped or real...

His being from Jersey, graduating from UD and yet being buddies with Jerrah is what should disqualify him.

I don't think Fiorina did well last night & I think she's done. She came off as whiny with Blitzer when she said she wanted questions directed at her. The whole Putin thing with her she wouldn't answer straight either.

Let's face it - there's Trump, Cruz looking OK & Rubio & Christie on the next rung. Carson is probably on that next rung too, but trending in the wrong direction. Everyone else is hot air.

It's (unofficially) down to 5: Trump, Rubio, Cruz, Christie, and Bush.

The VP choices become interesting.
Trump won't be chosen for VP, but the other 4 could which would be interesting. Cruz won't choose Rubio and vice versa. I think Rubio and Cruz would choose either Bush, Kasich, or Christie. They need governing experience and not another Senator. I think Christie would choose either Cruz or Rubio. Bush might not go with Rubio because of the all-Florida ballot.

The conks have a guy who has offered zero details on solutions and has hammered out a sizable lead in the polls by doing nothing but offering the American public snippy soundbites...and you think being fat isn't disqualifying?

Cruz will offer it to Trump, the dipshit vote is a lynchpin of his strategy.
